He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Johnson and Louella Johnson of Ontario, Oregon.; his wife Valita Diane Johnson; his children, Rick Johnson (Nani) of Ontario, Michael Johnson of Ontario, Scott Johnson (Marla) of Payette, Rhonda Cudaback (Paul) of Florence, Oregon, Bob Holmes of Oshkosh, Nebraska and Jeff Holmes (Chantelle) of Kuna; his siblings, Dennis Johnson of Ontario, Lynn Stone of Fruitland, Donna Johnson of John Day, Oregon and Wayne Love of Juneau, Alaska.; his son Gregory Johnson; and his granddaughter Sandra. He was also cherished by his 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and Rayne, his great, great granddaughter.
