She was predeceased by: her parents, Ester Syme and William Syme; her spouse John Turnipseed; her siblings, Bob Syme and Ann Ball; and her daughters, Linda King and Christy Harvey.

She is survived by: her son Dale (Bobbie Turnipseed); her brother Clark (Elaine Syme); her sons-in-law, Richard King and James Harvey; and also Elaine. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
