She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet M. Ferdon and Lawrence F. Ferdon; her sisters, Carol Ferdon and June; her husband Jack O'Brien; her son Thomas J. O'Brien; and her grandson Jared R. O'Brien.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey E. O'Brien (Colleen); her grandchildren, Lori, John, Andrew and Wade; her stepdaughter Renee Mercer (Rick); and her sons, Nick, Colin and Brandon. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
