She is survived by: her spouse Ruben Lopez; her friend Christina Mejia; her grandchild Lupe; her children, Norberto Lopez (Laurie) of Washougal, WA, Ruben Lopez, Jr., Joel Lopez (Linda), Fernando Lopez and Rachel Hopper (David); her grandchildren, James, Bianca Lopez of Gresham, OR, Anthony, Stephannie Lopez, Dina, Angela Lopez, Caimen Lopez, Manuel, Lourdes, Ludivina Lopez, Erika Hopper, Ethan Hopper, Quito, Ecuador and Emree Hopper; her siblings, Gilberto Vela (Hortencia) of Edinburg, Emilio Vela (Janice), Maria, Salazar, Carlos Vela (Enedelia) of San Juan and Jesus Vela, Jr. (Idolina) of Alamo, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Gonzalez of Pharr, Texas and Anita Vela of Pharr, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
