He is survived by: his sister Mary Takami; his children, Gene L. Thompson Jr. (Becky) of Nyssa, Joe Thompson (Renee) of Kuna, Helen Plaza of Ontario and Catherine Thompson (Jeff Wheeler) of Sublimity; his grandchildren, Asia Daggett (Paul), Serafia Plaza, Abigail Plaza, Ryan Thompson and Raymond Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jagger and Callum.
