He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ekanger; his children, Brent, Linda Kurtz and Sonya Maag (Rob); and his sister Nell Franklin. He is also survived by 4 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 2 great granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
