It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Val Mitchell of Nyssa, Oregon, who passed away on June 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lochiel and Lila Moon Mitchell; and his siblings, Lila June Mitchell Rookstool (Harold) and Don Jarvis Mitchell (Lois). He is survived by: his spouse Faelela Jean Hendricks; and his children, Michael Val (Martha Kingsford), Linda Marie Brent (late Bruce Orr), Lila Louise Marilyn (Brent Reeder) and Marianne (David Hayes). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
