He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hicks and Gayle Hicks (Granberg). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Andronis; his children, Dean Douglas Hicks and Meaghan Hicks; his stepchildren, Melissa Andronis of Gresham, OR and Marcus Andronis (Mary Morehouse) of The Dalles, OR.; and his granddaughter Kaiya Amour.
