He was predeceased by: his son Darryl Wayne Gauntz; his brother Jim Gauntz; and his parents, Melvin Gauntz and Dorothy Gauntz. He is survived by: his former spouses, Linda Hendrickson and Elene Hines; his stepsons, Roy, Jason and Brian Hines; his former wife Judy Wright; his wife Judy Gauntz of North Bend; his sons, Doug Gauntz (Delinda) of North Bend and Don Gauntz of Steilacoom, WA; his stepchildren, Tari, Ken Little of North Bend, Paula, Jim McMillan of North Bend and Dennis Wright of Coos Bay; and his grandchildren, Nelsen, Emalie Gauntz, McKenzie Gauntz, Katie Gauntz, Caleb Gauntz, Hannah Gauntz, Noah Gauntz, Amanda, Trea Collins, Shawn and Sara McMillan. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
