We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2023, at the age of 87, Philip John Keizer Sr. of North Bend, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ennis Keizer and Frances Keizer (Hoffman); his siblings, Dr. Russell Keizer and Ann Engelcke; and his granddaughter Katherine Keizer.
He is survived by: his great-uncle Dr. Phil Keizer; his wife Ann Pettersen; his child Dr. P. J. Keizer (Elena Keizer); his grandchildren, Johnny, Julia and Tommy of Coos Bay; his daughter Lisa LaGesse (Phil LaGesse); his grandchildren, Laura, Karen and George of North Bend; his daughter Clarice Weeks (Keith Weeks); his granddaughters, Anna, Mara and Ella of West Linn; his daughter Karen Thrift (Scott Thrift); his grandchildren, Alexander and Charlie of Redwood City, CA; his child Teddy Keizer (Ann Sulzer); and his grandchildren, Lincoln and Caroline of Portland.
The family suggests contributions to the Coos Foundation, Inc, PO Box 1375, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420, a nonprofit founded by his father through Rotary to benefit local projects in the Coos Bay area.
