We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 86, Lela R. Bassett of North Bend, Oregon, born in Sublimity, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Boedigheimer and Jennie Boedigheimer (Meier). She is survived by: her husband Maurie Bassett of North Bend; her children, Scott Bassett (Ellen) of Coos Bay, Roger Bassett (Debi) of Roseburg, Jeff Bassett (Barb) of Idaho Falls, ID and Debra Stemmerman (Colby) of Coos Bay; and her sisters, Margie Whisenhunt and Phyliss McGill of Sublimity. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
