He is survived by: his sister Dorothy; his children, Debra, Karen (Monte) and John P.; his grandchildren, Mitchell (Alayna), Mason, Madeline and Miller Koch; and his great grandchild Darcy. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
He received multiple recognitions over the years for his contributions to the BLM.
