With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Hartsel of Newport, Oregon, born in Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martin Thompson and Helen Thompson; her daughter Karen Barth (Brian) of Newport; her grandsons, Brent Barth, Jason Barth (Kristin) of Newport, Christopher Barth (Ashley) of Albany and Phillip Lovelace of Northern Virginia; and her siblings, Gloria Fike, Judy Kaufmann and George Thompson. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
