He was predeceased by: his parent Lynn R. Porte. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rae Bacon; his daughter Kimberley M. Casteel; his son-in-law Robert of Elk Grove, CA; his son Robert A. La Porte; his daughter-in-law Debby of Foresthill, CA; his daughter Trena A. Ingram of Folsom, CA.; and his grandchildren, Brandon J. Arnold, Alexandria R. O'Connor, Matthew R. La Porte and Daniel A. La Porte. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
The family welcomes donations or volunteering with South Lincoln Resources or Meals on Wheels, in Alan's name, instead of flowers.
