Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schaefer and Juanita Schaefer (Bainter). She is survived by: her husband Hubert; her daughters, Phyllis and Cheri (Bob); and her siblings, Beverly (Bob) and Lee (Sarah). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
It is said that Alzheimer's disease is the long goodbye and Shirley faced this difficulty with the same attitude she showed throughout her life – loving kindness.
