Forrest Lee Obituary

Forrest Don Lee (Newberg, Oregon) was born to Thomas and Audry (Wells) Lee on September 11, 1937 in Spokane, Washington. In 1949, the Lee family moved to Wheeler, OR and later to Newport, OR where Forrest graduated from Newport High School in 1955. He graduated from Linfield College in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Forrest moved to the Portland area where he taught for 30 years. After retirement, Forrest spent time living on the Oregon Coast and in the Spokane area where he built a cedar home on the family "ranch" in Elk, Washington. He passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 85. Forrest is survived by brother Owen Lee, son Carey Lee (Charlene), daughter Lauri Nguyen (Thoi), granddaughters Traci Nguyen Tenzeldam (Kyle), Randi Nguyen-Carlson (Jake), Jennifer Lee and grandson Michael Lee as well as his great grandsons Cody Carlson, Henry Tenzeldam and Daniel Tenzeldam. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 17th, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Devils Lake State Park Day Use Area (205 NE East Devils Lake Rd Lincoln City, OR).
