He is survived by: his wife Betty Walden; his daughter Kayda Kooken Mitchell (Ben); his sister Gretchen (Paul); his son Phil; his stepsons, Bruce (Naoko) and Brent; and his grandchildren, Katie (Michael), Sara (Kurtis), Elena, Keith (Sarah) and Josiah.
