He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Mona Ray and Sanford Ray; and his brothers, Ronald Ray and Gerald Johnson.
He is survived by: his sister Jeannette Jan Skelton; his sons, David (Susan Ray), Ricky (Donda Ray) and Jody (Dominique Ray); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Nicole, Crystal, Trisha, Zachary and Mariah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends.
