He is survived by: his spouse Jerrie Lou Wilson; his children, Virginia "Ginny" Leigh (Tim), Laura Elaine Davenport (Stoney) and Allen Bateman (Regina); his grandchildren, Miranda and Mitchell Denman; and his siblings, Don, Fred Bateman, Emogene "Jean" Gilliam and Caroline Southworth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
