She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her sister Doreen Brickey. She is survived by: her parents, James Rose and Myra Rose; her brother Charles Rose of Roseburg; her daughter Bonnie McManis; her granddaughter Allison McManis; and her son Gary of Roseburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would encourage a possible donation to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation..

“I am so sorry. I just heard about this. I knew Virginia from childhood. My mother and father, Vivian and Einar Sund, got Virginia and Johnny involved in Masonic orders. I remember Johnny learning his ritual with my dad. Virginia and Zenobia Aker came to my installation as Worthy Matron of OES in Aberdeen, Washington. Virginia came to my installation as Queen of Zora Temple in Tacoma. Virginia and Johnny were the nicest people. Edythe Sund Barnett Hulet”
