He was predeceased by: his former wife Kimberly Peete; his siblings, Lola, Annie, Pearl and Willie; his children, Frederick English, Christopher Starr and Heidi Romero; and his granddaughter Tanisha Wiltz.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Peete; his siblings, Joe Pete and Mary Pete; and his nieces and nephews, Janice Peete, Stanley Mimzie, LaTanya (Ricardo Andrews), Lisa Quarles, Leslie Peete-Ocampo, Jason Romero, Jennifer Thompson and Lori Scroggins-Phipps. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to complications from COVID-19 Phredi, who would never say goodbye, said "See you later," on December 9, 2020 and went to be with Jesus.
