He is survived by: his parents, Frank Schmidt and Mary Schmidt of Humphrey; his spouses, Bettie Jean Moritz and Barbara Hammer (Etzel); his sister MaryAnn Raymond (Bob); and his children, Robert (Patty), Leonard (Liz), Ron (Cindy), Patrick Schmidt, Karen Ryan (Carl) and Susan Bielemeier (Gene). He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
