Betty Gossett Treager Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Gossett Treager of Mount Angel, Oregon, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Betty Gossett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Betty Gossett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Gossett and Mary Goupe Gossett; and her children, Joanie and Gary. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa (Ron Bryant), Marilyn (Jim Hall), Rosie (Dan Wilgus) and Annie (Pete GrosJacques). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Unger Funeral Chapel, Mt. Angel, Oregon (190 Railroad Ave, Mt Angel, OR 97362). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (575 E College St, Mt Angel, OR 97362).
