“Some people make you smile when you think about them. Steve was one of those people. Now that smile is joined with sadness. We extend our deepest sympathy to the wonderful Fanger family. It was just Sunday last week that Steve was downstairs in his normal corner of the church for the "young adults" Bible study. He greeted me with his trademark hearty handshake and we joined in friendly banter. There is a family, a church, and a community that will miss Steve.”
