He is survived by: his brothers, TJ and Yamaha; his children, Spencer, Nichole (Matt) and Landrie (Kenny); his grandchild Madalynn; his nephew Jacob; his brother Geoff (Amy); his nephews, Elijah, Isaiah and Noah; his sister Shonna Kimble (Bill); his nephew Zach; his father-in-law Norm Church (Bonnie); his mother Georgia Lockhart-Brown (Dick); and his wife Julie Lockhart.

Before the pandemic, Neal worked as a shipping manager, until he made the ultimate sacrifice for his family in 2020.
