He was predeceased by: his former wife Myrtle Maxine Wilson (Sug); and his sons, William Allen Tate and Charles Jefferson Tate. He is survived by: his stepson Randy; his stepgrandsons, Jeff and Bill; his wife Helen; and his sons, Randolph Clark Tate (Clarisse) and Joe (Diana). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
