He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Sorenson and Mabel Sorenson; his wife Norma VanVorst; his children, Michael VanVorst, Sherry Fisher, Mark and Shannon VanVorst; his grandchildren, Anthony Vanvorst (Heather Reed), Lona VanVorst, Tristin Fisher, Loren (Heather VanVorst) and Shaylynne VanVorst-Neyman (Joseph Neyman); and his great grandchildren, Izabell VanVorst, Vanessa Reed, Darian VanVorst, Kylee VanVorst, Aloysius Heinz, Rahjim Heinz, Michaela VanVorst, Ayden VanVorst, Hailey VanVorst, Torrie VanVorst, Kaydence VanVorst and Lycan VanVorst. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
