He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Barclay Chapman and Phyllis Lorraine Gardner Chapman; and his brother Daniel. He is survived by: his children, Liese (William) and Molalla; his brothers, John and Steve; his son-in-law Jordan; and his granddaughter Penelope.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to David's favorite radio station, KBOO Community Radio in Portland.
