We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 92, Joe Lee Fitzgerald of Mitchell, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joe had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Joe may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Fitzgerald and Vada Fitzgerald of Mitchell; his wife Evelyon Cline; and his son Billy Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Brice (Tim) of Lebanon, Dean Fitzgerald of Sweet Home and Howard Fitzgerald (Nancy) of Mitchell; and his brother Tom Fitzgerald of Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mitchell School (340 SE High St, Mitchell, OR 97750).
