He is survived by: his son Alex; his wife Sharon Carroll-Nilson; his son Michael Nilson; his sisters, Sara Bos (Glen) and Claudia Nilson; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Carroll and Tom Carroll (Joanne). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
