It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorene Claire Halstead (Mill City, Oregon), born in Boise, Idaho, who passed away on May 14, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Coon and Velva Coon (Watt); her husband Richard "Dick" Halstead, Sr.; her daughters, Sharlene Hoffmaster and Lori Ann Halstead; and her brother LeRoy Coon.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Ferguson, Sherry Perdue and Richard "Rick" Halstead, Jr.; her sister-in-law Mary Coon; and her children-in-law, Darrel Hoffmaster, Tom Ferguson and Julie Halstead. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
