He is survived by: his wife Maria Espitia; and his children, Irene, Delmi (Michael), Irma, Jessie, Carmen (Efrain), Mario Jr. and Erlinda (Gustavo). He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
