With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sayer Carter Strauch of Medford, Oregon, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harry Carter Strauch of Point Richmond, CA; his brother-in-law John Gunnar Swenson of Walnut Creek, CA; and his mother-in-law Jane Olsen of Portland, OR. He is survived by: his parent Claire Munson Strauch of Medford, OR.; his children, Emma Jane Strauch, Nathan Carter Strauch and Ian Joseph Strauch of Salem; his former wife Heidi Olsen Strauch of Salem; his stepparents, Harry A. Krogman of Medford, OR and Nancy Strauch of Point Richmond, CA; his siblings, Diana Lee Swenson of Walnut Creek, CA, Cindy Louise Hardcastle (Scott) of Anderson Island, WA and Mark Scureman Strauch (Laurie) of Alamo, CA; and his stepbrother Frederic Wakeman (Sally) of Greenwich, CT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
