He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Dunlap and Merle Jean Brannock (Coss); his former wife Dorothy Ann Ludwig; his wife Lena Faye Knox (Yadon); and his siblings, Lee Brannock, Jr., H. Douglas Brannock, William "Bill" Brannock and Jean M. Flannery.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. Brannock of Pasadena and Jesse P. Brannock (Sharstin) of Eagle Point, Oregon; his grandson Evan Brannock of Medford; and his niece Barbara Brown (David) of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
