She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Schmiegelt and Kurt Schmiegelt; her husband Juergen; and her siblings, Ruth Schwurack and Dieter Schmiegelt.
She is survived by: her children, Hans-Jorg, Angelika and Viola; and her grandchildren, Christina, Tiffany, Holly, Annalies, Peter and Kyle. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Messinger Indian School Mortuary (7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Paradise Memorial Gardens (9300 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260).
