It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia June Prather (McMinnville, Oregon), born in Tonganoxie, Kansas, who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis E. Peters and Rosella Peters; her siblings, Wilma Johnson and Walter Peters (Red); her husband J. L. Prather; and her son Jack Prather.
She is survived by: her former husband John LeRoy Prather (JL); her son Richard Prather (Dick); and her daughter-in-law JoAn. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
