He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Mindy Menke, Diane Burnham (Bruce) and Mark Phipps (Clara); and his siblings, Melvin Phipps of Newberg, OR and Margaret Grimes of Villisca. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
