He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood C. Apperson and Letha Coles Apperson; and his siblings, Patsey Miller and Edwin Apperson. He is survived by: his wife Meredith; his children, Terrie Wasson (Bob), Leslie Rogers (Gregg) of McMinnville, OR, Grant Apperson (Bren) of Quakertown, PN and Stuart Apperson (Rebecca) of Hillsboro, OR; and his sister Eloise Zwald (Tom) of Portland, OR.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
