He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Donna Maria Stewart; his wife Donna; his children, Karen Root, David Root Jr. and Jenny (Jack) of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Josh (Alisha), Steven, Nikki, Monica, Allison, Garner, Kami, Tessa, Jack Jr., Ava and Dallas; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Mia and Carson.
