He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Graydon Babb Sr. and Carrie Gail Babb (Boak); his sisters, Bette, Nancy and Margaret (Mig); and his granddaughter Lindsay Allisha Babb.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Malisa Hollis, Jake Quiring and Lindsay Babb; his wife Shirley; his children, Kimberley (Wilbur Quiring), Konni (Doug Hollis) and Mike (Valerie Stursa); his grandchildren, Jon Hollis (Charlie), Brady Babb, Jacob Quiring (Amy), Kasey Babb (Joyce) and Jordan Quiring (Ashleigh); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Parker, Lindsay Babb, Allisha, Graydon Quiring, Paisleigh and Ella Quiring; and his siblings-in-law, Julia Seibert and Raymond Klein. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The Babb's donated the lights for both the baseball and softball fields.
