She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dean Anderson and Vera Anderson (Dixon); her brother Michael Anderson; her husband John D. Hernandez; her sons, Daniel, Robert and Jonathan; her daughter-in-law Angela; and her grandchildren, Rhiannon and Alexis.

She enjoyed beadwork, painting pottery, as well as charity and volunteer work for the LGBT Community.
