It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sondra L. Porter of Lyons, Oregon, born in Marion, Oregon, who passed away on March 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Christensen and Hazel Christensen; her husband Robert Porter of Lyons; her children, Jim Hemshorn of Sublimity, Roger Porter (Terri) of Sublimity, Richard Porter of Salem, Gina Hickam of Stayton and Gary Porter of Salem; her sisters, Lucky Shaffner of Mehama and Penny Traw of Albany; and her granddaughters, Christine Becktold (Isaac) of Arlington and Carin Hemshorn (Ivan Fonzeca) of Lacey, WA. She was also cherished by five other grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
