With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Ann Kurtman-West of Lyons, Oregon, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rasmussen and Mary Ellen Rasmussen (Rowan); her husband Robert West; and her stepson Scott Kurtzman-Ickes. She is survived by: her sister Claudia Bergeron (Rick) of St. George, UT; her children, Robert Kurtzman (Carrol) of Shreveport, LA and Dana Kurtzman Porterfield (Mark); her stepchildren, Effie Frankel (David) of Beit El, Robert B. West (Haydee) and Judy Allen; her daughters-in-law, Susan Schramm and Lori Ickes; her grandchildren, Dayann Porterfield Shepherd (Michael) and Dean Porterfield; and her great grandchildren, Josiah and Evangelyn Shepherd. She is also survived by 15 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren, and 5 step-great-great grandchildren.
