He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Smith and Clara Jacobson Smith; his son Ryan Smith; and his siblings, Bev Baldrige and Morse Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Reiba Smith of Long Creek, OR; his children, Treina Smith Slatt of Hood River, OR, Treila Smith and Rykeir Smith of Vancouver, WA; his siblings, Tim Smith of McMinnville, OR, Sharon Leasy of Pilot Rock, OR and Joyce Authier; and his grandchildren, Treiquella, Peiyton, Tayleir, Aubreianna, Teigan, Zandeir, Lillien and Preston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
