She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bell and Louise Bell (Whitsell); her husband Glenn Dale Atkeson; her sister-in-law Elaine Bell; her son Glenn Dale Atkeson, Jr.; her son-in-law Gary Emerson; and her grandsons, Ethan Emerson and Holt Atkeson.
She is survived by: her siblings, ZoeAnn "Dutch" Brinker of Haines, Alaska and Mike Bell of Juneau, Alaska; her children, Tina Emerson, Scott Atkeson (Jeanne), Kenneth Atkeson (Colleen) and Wade Atkeson (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Lindy, Lexie, Kelley, Eli, Cooper, Caleb, April, Dylan, Andrey, Kennon, Ezra and Massey. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Fair Havens Children's Home of Springfield.
