He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Martha Copeland, Darlene Bond, Joyce Pennington and Jonathan Pennington; and his grandchildren, Galloway Copeland, Victor Copeland, Jamie Bates, Anthony Bond, Lydia Castro, Jonathan J. E. Leimbach, Jenna Leimbach, Jordan Leimbach, Denae Pennington, Dacotah Pennington, Kaydin Pennington and Xavier Pennington. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
