He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Elber and Jane S. Powers (Bonine); and his granddaughter Destiny White. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Powers of Lebanon; his children, Theresa White, Tamara Ridout, Lora Steiverson, Lisa King and Lawrence Powers; and his sisters, Carol Herzog and Sherry Carmichael. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
