He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Long and Margaret Tuchardt; his spouse Mayzell L. Thomas; his children, Chuck Tuchardt of Lebanon and Debra Smith of Salem; and his siblings, Elaine Long of Portland, Susan Long of Portland, Carl Long of Foster, Dennis Long of Lowell and Fred Long of Idaho.
