He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Schmit (Matt) and Margaret Schmit; his wife Sheila Nixon; and his sister Shirley Jarnig. He is survived by: his children, Todd, Troy, Tad and Jill Charboneau; his nephew Gordon Jarnig; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Father Frederick, Tyler, Thomas, Libby, Emily, Logan, Braeden and Cassidy; and his great grandchildren, Augustine, Cosette, Agatha, Damian and Magdalene. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
