He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Cullen O'Reilly and Robert Joseph O'Reilly, Sr.; his brothers, Kevin (Barbara), James (Sue) and Tom O'Reilly; his daughters, Eileen (Robert Hoisington), Kathleen (William McInerney) and Annemarie (Kimberly Johnson); and his grandchildren, Rose, Kevin O'Reilly-Hoisington, Colin, Liam McInerney and Owen O'Reilly. He was also cherished by his wife and daughters.
